Facility updates

Shenkman Arts Centre’s call centre and box office are closed until June 30, 2020.

Ticket holders will be contacted and updates will be made to our event listings as the status of future performances are confirmed. We will reach out to ticket holders if performances are cancelled. Ticket holders can exchange their tickets or choose to be refunded. In both cases administrative fees will be waived.

All classes and workshops at Shenkman Arts Centre in March and April are cancelled and will resume when the centre re-opens. We will make information about future programs available as soon as possible.

Q: When will I know if the performance that I have tickets for is cancelled or postponed?


We will contact you directly once the status of each event becomes available. We will also update the event listings on our website.

Q: If a performance is cancelled, when and how will I receive a refund?


If you purchased tickets online for an event that is cancelled, refunds will be processed through our online ticketing partner and returned to your credit card.

If you purchased tickets over the phone or in person, we will refund your purchase when facility re opens to the public.

Q: If a performance is postponed, what do I do?


If you are holding tickets for a performance that is postponed, we will announce the new dates as soon as possible. Your current tickets will be honoured for that date, or we will refund you at your request if you are unable to attend the new date.

Q: When will the theatre reopen?


The health and safety of Ottawa residents is the top priority for the City of Ottawa and Ottawa Public Health. We will announce when they have deemed it safe for the venue to reopen.

Q: I’m registered for a course. When will I know the status of it?


All classes, workshops, and camps scheduled for March and April are cancelled. Information changes daily and we will share information when it becomes available.

Contacting the organization offering the class is the best way to receive up-to-date information.
